When I began my infant registry, I was so puzzled by the Sophie buzz ... I indicate seriously? More than 20 bucks for a teething toy? WHY? But the evaluations raved about Sophie, so I figured just what the heck & added it. Sure enough, somebody got this for my daughter & oh. my. lord. She LOVED it from the extremely starting. It was the first toy that she revealed any type of inclination for or interest in. She gnawed Sophie's legs, ears & nose without mercy for the first 8 months of her life. So yeah ... Sophie's worth it. My daughter is now 14-months-old & no longer chews Sophie ... now she puts her in her toy bag & holds her around:)

Two words of care:
1. If you completely immerse Sophie, she stops squeaking until she's entirely dried out. I cleaned her & instantly handed her back to my daughter ... you could just imagine the sadness that followed with she squeezed Sophie & there was just a small, unfortunate gurgling sound.
2. Sophie's squeak is SO loud. Do not permit her to accompany you into church, a conference or anywhere that loud squeaking isn't really smiled upon. I have actually had to eliminate Sophie more than once in a dining establishment when I begin getting the hairy eyeball from fellow consumers.

My little girl is almost 5 months old and she enjoys Sophie!

One of the very best things about Sophie is that she is simple to keep (both since of the shape and texture). My daughter especially loves to chew on Sophie's horns and ears, and additionally her face. My little girl suches as to utilize her legs for keeping her; not normally for chewing.

Additionally, Sophie squeaks! I didn't realize she was a squeaky toy until I pulled her from her box.

Our dog is extremely curious about Sophie, too. Whenever I squeak Sophie for my little girl, the dog actually benefits up. I'm going to need to be cautious not to leave Sophie out, because I think our dog would probably claim her if I'm not cautious.

Highly recommended! This is a wonderful teething toy!

When we got residence from playschool today, we had a bundle hanging around by the door. It was Sophie !! My little girl is 9 weeks old and till today she had no toys! I opened the box and held Sophie in front of my child. She looked intently at the attractive little toy and her hands started to open and close. I put Sophie where infant can reach and she grabbed hold of her! Perfect size for a baby toy and so soft! I could picture it will be fantastic when baby gets to teething too. I could see just how some call it a glorified dog toy, but it is not made from the exact same smelly rubber as a dog toy and the paint on Sophie is meals grade. I think the price is a little high however we believe in only purchasing the kids a couple of well made quality toys rather than a lot of low-cost plastic junk.

I enjoy this toy and will certainly offer it to every new parent that I know! This is the only toy with sound that we possess that does not have clear packaging tape on the presenter! (Every other toy gets the "tape treatment" once it enters your house!) Music quality is terrific and the tracks play for longer than many toys, so you don't need to reach over and hit the button as often!

We never ever make a roadway trip with out it. It has actually assisted soothe our child given that he was two months old. He's now four months old and this still holds his attention magnificently and he enjoys it much more now that he has actually figured out ways to push the button. We call it the child whisperer and have skilled it to EVERY anticipating moms and dad we understand.

This is our brand-new favored game! Our girls are 9 and 4 1/2, and we play it every weekend. Initially, I thought it was a little difficult for the kids (the two - and three-star cards are still way too hard for them, AND me!), but it was just tough for me. My left brain kept wishing to take control of the building process, but the kids have no problem at all and have gotten quite good at structure and suspecting. Even the four-and-a-half year old can play. So much fun!
